Skiing and Winter Sports

Even in winter, mineral intake should not be underestimated!

Whether cross-country skiing, biathlon, slalom, or alpine skiing, the body undergoes considerable exertion, and concentration is required. Since energy expenditure is very high even in the cold, it is important to replenish sufficient mineral reserves before the start for a successful competition. Those who neglect this will experience the infamous "performance slump."

For longer distances, such as in biathlon or cross-country skiing, it is important to ensure that carbohydrates and sodium (salt) are replenished during the race. This is best achieved with a hot isotonic drink, which can be provided by support staff.

When high concentration is required, such as in alpine skiing or slalom, an "energy boost" shortly before the start is very effective. A liquid carbohydrate gel in a tube is a secret weapon for successful winter athletes.

Those who recover well will be able to perform at their best the next day as well. Damaged muscle cells need to be rebuilt with protein immediately after the race. This is easily achieved with our "Regeneration Turbo," which fits perfectly in your winter jacket.

Our advice: Our book, THE BEST TIPS for Winter Athletes, is unique and has been tested with great success by many renowned athletes. Take advantage of it!
