Safflower oil (Carthamus tinctorius L.) is obtained from the seed of the plant with the same name. Sanct Bernhard safflower oil is a high quality food oil with a particularly high content of oleic acid (at least 74%) and vitamin E naturally present.

Since it is possible to maintain a normal cholesterol level in the blood by replacing saturated fatty acids with unsaturated fatty acids, the use of safflower oil as an accompaniment to a low cholesterol diet is recommended.

With its mild and neutral flavor, it is ideal for use in cold cooking, that is, for salads, raw foods, mayonnaise and the like.

Thanks to its high resistance to heat, it can be used equally well for hot cooking, this is for frying, boiling, baking and roasting.
