Food safety and quality are an important part of company policy. We are aware of our role in the food chain. To fulfill our responsibility in the manufacturing of our products, a precise analysis and evaluation of conceivable hazards and risks in all processes is necessary, as well as compliance with specified measures, including their testing based on measurable criteria. To guarantee the high quality and safety standards of our products, we have developed preventive programs as well as food safety monitoring and control measures and plans. It is natural for us, on the one hand, to comply with legal regulations and, on the other, to meet our high quality and food safety standards.
Our quality management system is certified according to the ISO 22000:2018 food safety standard.
BCS test seal
Certified - quality tested
All ingredients for the production of our specially labeled organic products come from controlled organic crops. For neutral and independent control we have summoned the organic control body BCS. This testing center controls and monitors both the production and the ingredients used in all our organic products.
Our suppliers must also have their operations certified by recognized testing bodies. This way we guarantee you the highest ecological quality.
Our company has been ecologically certified since 2005 with the control number DE-ÖKO-001.

We assume responsibility for our environment.
The manufacturer Sanct Bernhard attaches great importance to maintaining a clean and habitable environment. For this we were recognized as an ECOfit company.
As a company, we accept the responsibility to observe and apply ecological principles in our operations to reduce both negative environmental impacts and costs.
With the constant installation of photovoltaic systems in the company buildings since 2012, we have continuously expanded our sustainable energy supply. In 2017 we were able to generate around 400,000 kWh of electricity in an environmentally friendly way in our own photovoltaic plants.
Our goal is to continue using energy resources in a sustainable and environmentally friendly way in the future. This includes, for example, the planning and purchasing of energy-saving business buildings, vehicles and production machines.
An in-house energy team is working to find new and innovative ways to use heat and electricity even more efficiently. We give high priority to raising the awareness of our employees on economical energy consumption, together with regular training on environmentally friendly behaviour. Of course, legal regulations and official requirements are met as minimum standards.
